The space that sometimes is just an office can also extend beyond its function.
In a busy life, in the run of the days sometimes the space that it was mented to work swops to the refuge we all need from times to times.
Why can not an office be your zoom-out sanctuary? Sounds interesting?
A window can do a lot more for you than you think. Natural light has a brutal impact on our mood. Having exposure to natural light during the day in your office is strongly linked to energy, mood, sleep, and overall quality of life, which lack of natural light is implicated in insomnia, irritability, distraction, and depression.
Keep it clean and organized. Find a method that works. No more papers without a folder.
Symmetry can do a lot for itself. A visually organized space does a check in everyone’s OCD.
It might be good to have more than a desk and a chair in your office. Add to your space a comfort zone. A corner with an armchair where you can sit down, and just have a break. Or a couch, or even a yoga mattress or a mini golf court. An interior garden maybe? Have in your office a place of pleasure will actually improve the work time, by making it more productive.
