A now Modern House that still keeps its historic quirks. This house it was once a carriage house, constructed for carriages and horses, and so it had an particular functional nature that made for a quirkier design.
The inspiration behind this house was to carry the previous design but combining it with an industrial, europa and middle east feeling.Adding wood throughout the house without making it feel farmhouse, transforming it from dim to luminous was the main focus in this Lisa Kreiling interior design project. The different spaces flow from the dining and living room to the kitchen all to the entertainment room. To separate this spaces is a glass partition, connect with floating shelves on both sides.
The result is a beautifully done combination between the classic and modern, without being over done and cold. It feels relaxed, keeps its quirks and history.
