Inspired from the start by Buckhead’s classic architecture, Redd Studied at some of New York’s best design schools before landing apprenticeships with such luminaries as antique dealer John Roselli and decorator Bunny who educated him in the arts of the antique dealership, shopping and, most importantly, timeless decorating.
He is known for his quirky brand of cozy glamour. His unique aesthetic vision is characterized by playful mélanges of high and low, invigorated with whimsical splashes of color and modern gestures. His trademark approach to design has brought to life rooms infused with boldness, fantasy, and sophistication.
He also wrote “The book of chic”, is a book when he tells the curiosities on the rooms he had decorated, he said that he wants them to have the sensation of dancing across an MGM soundstage, silhouetted in a klieg light, because that was my intention with this book, a very personal blend of work and fantasy.
